Biography

Dr. Gaddam is a dedicated Hematologist-Oncologist and Assistant Professor at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport. He was born and raised in Hyderabad, India, and received his MBBS degree from Osmania Medical College in 2018. He received his Internal Medicine residency and Hematology/Oncology fellowship training at LSU Health Shreveport through 2019-2025. He received multiple recognitions during his training years - some noteworthy ones include Joan Blondin Award for Academic Excellence (2021-2022), Resident of the year (2020-2021). In addition, he served as both a Chief Resident (2021-2022) as well as a Chief Fellow (2024-2025). He is deeply grateful for the opportunities and community this institution and the city have provided. Now proudly calling North Louisiana home, he is dedicated to serve its people, advance patient care, and educate future physicians. With a clinical focus on blood-related disorders and cancers, he is passionate about improving healthcare in the region, through advanced treatments and compassionate care. His primary clinical practice is at the Feist-Weiller Cancer Center in Shreveport. In addition to his outpatient practice, he delivers specialized care to patients receiving Chemotherapy and Blood and Bone Marrow Transplantation/Cellular Therapy at the BBMT/CT unit at Ochsner LSU Health Shreveport, the only facility of its kind in North Louisiana and the Ark-La-Tex region. Committed to providing patients with greater access to specialized treatments, he practices once a week at the Ochsner LSU Health cancer clinic in Monroe, as well.
