Melinda L. Telli, MD

Biography

Dr Melinda Telli, professor of medicine in the Division of Medical Oncology at Stanford University School of Medicine, is director of the breast cancer program and associate director of clinical research at the Stanford Cancer Institute and associate director of the Stanford Women’s Cancer Center. She received her medical degree with distinction from George Washington University. She completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Stanford University, and then stayed at Stanford to pursue fellowship training in medical oncology. Dr Telli’s research focuses on the development of novel therapies for the treatment of breast cancer, with a focus on triple-negative and hereditary cancer as well as metastatic breast cancer. She is interested in study designs that test the application of novel biomarkers in the clinical setting.
