Dipesh Uprety, MD

Biography

Dr. Dipesh Uprety is currently an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Wayne State University and serves as a thoracic medical oncologist at the Barbara Ann Karmanos Cancer Institute, Detroit, Michigan. Dr. Uprety specializes in the care of patients with lung cancer. Dr. Uprety is also actively involved in clinical research and is the site PI for numerous clinical trials at Karmanos. He has published more than 50 papers or abstracts including original research, commentaries, editorials, abstracts and a book chapter in the leading journals and major conference meetings. He has special interest in studying mechanisms of resistance to immunotherapy.
