Biography

I am a Hematologist/Oncologist and Epidemiologist serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine and Public Health at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center (UT Southwestern). I also serve as the Director of Myeloma Epidemiology Research and Clinical Director of the Monoclonal Gammopathy Precursor Clinic. I’m a graduate of the University of Michigan Medical School, Harvard T.H Chan School of Public Health, and Columbia Mailman School of Public Health. I completed my residency in Internal Medicine at the Cleveland Clinic & Lerner College of Medicine and my fellowship in Hematology/Oncology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center & Harvard Medical School. I have been a Hospitalist at Massachusetts General Hospital as well as an Instructor at Harvard Medical School.  I've been featured in both academic and lay mediums (e.g., from The Lancet to Newsweek).
